In December 2019, I gave a keynote lecture at the Australasian Universities Languages and Literature Association (AULLA) conference at the University of Wollongong. The lecture was called ‘I was part of the story: pedagogy in/outside the academy’; it draws on some of the same material as my inaugural and also discusses my experiences teaching in Palestine.
In February 2019, I was invited to give a TEDx talk at the University of Birmingham, on the topic, ‘Are universities for everyone?’
